< What you can expect in this tour >

We start a tour at 9AM (recommended) and visit sightseeing spots as follows.

1. Hamarikyu garden

It is a large Japanese garden located by the Tokyo Bay. Walking slowly in the quiet and beautiful garden while seeing flowers and plants is very refreshing. After strolling, it is a good idea to rest at the tea house that offers green tea and sweets in a tea-ceremony style.

2. Sumida river cruise

From Hamarikyu garden to Asakusa, we cruise along the Sumida river.

You can relax and enjoy beautiful scenery including 12 bridges, the Tokyo Sky-Tree, water front buildings, and traditional neighborhoods of old Tokyo.

3. Asakusa

A landmark of Asakusa is “Kaminari-mon Gate” of the Sensoji temple which is the largest Buddhist temple in Tokyo. At the temple, we will pray for something at the beautiful main hall. Nakamise shopping street is an ideal place to see local snacks and souvenirs. There are many restaurants including Japanese food and western food. We will have lunch there.

4. Meiji-jingu

It is the largest Shinto shrine in Tokyo. In 1920, it was founded to commemorate Emperor Meiji who took a lead in making Japan a modern and industrialized country. The shrine building was constructed in the traditional style. Many old trees in the forest add the sacred atmosphere. Young couples like to hold wedding ceremonies here.

5. Omotesando and Shibuya

After the shrine, we stroll Omotesando and Harajuku shopping area.

The final destination is Shibuya which is famous for a busy scramble crossing and a dog stature called Hachiko.

At the end of the tour, I will show you how to go back to your hotel or how to get to your next destination.
